About Jasper Hotel

Melbourne's vibrant full service boutique hotel

Jasper Hotel was unveiled to Melbourne in January 2007

The home of YWCA Victoria and formerly known as Hotel Y, Jasper Hotel was launched in 2007 after a $4.5 million redevelopment by award winning Melbourne architects, Jackson Clements Burrows.

Unique in its aesthetic and function, Jasper Hotel has been designed to reflect the many colours of the Jasper gemstone and its corridors on each level are saturated in a different colour of the spectrum, creating a unique and memorable experience on each floor.

Superbly positioned on Elizabeth Street, in the heart of Melbourne's Market Precinct, Jasper Hotel has all of the city's transport, shopping, sporting and cultural facilities on its doorstep. It is also in close proximity to other important landmarks including major hospitals, Melbourne University and RMIT.

YWCA Victoria has had a long tradition of owning and operating accommodation in the budget market and Jasper Hotel is proudly its first four-star hotel venture in Australia.

Jasper Hotel is proud of its YWCA heritage and as a Not For Profit organisation, it continues to support the community at need.
